What is Grief?
Grief is the normal and natural emotional response to loss.
Grief is not only about death. A death, divorce, or the end of a relationship can all be causes of grief. Losing a pet, moving, and a change in finances are also a few of the more than forty losses a person might experience in a lifetime.
Grief is the emotional reaction to loss of any kind. The problem is that most of what we have learned about dealing with loss is intellectual.
Are you suffering from a broken heart?
Regardless of the cause of your broken heart, you know how you feel and it probably isn’t good. I will not tell you, “I know how you feel.”, because I don’t. Neither does anyone else. What I will do is provide a safe environment where you will be given specific tools to help you recover from loss and ultimately lead a happier life.
We are told that we need to let go and move on with our lives, but no one tells us how. The Grief Recovery Method Support Group, developed and refined over the past 30 years, teaches you how to recover from loss with supportive guidance every step of the way.
